  • costin tuculescu

    Costin Tuculescu, CEO & Founder

    Costin Tuculescu is the founder and CEO of AnyMeeting and a 12-year veteran of the web conferencing industry. Costin has a BS in Computer Science from UC Irvine and is an avid technologist and software engineer. In 2009, Costin identified an opportunity in the web conferencing industry to apply an ad-supported business model to deliver a free web conferencing and webinar service -- something no other provider had done.

    AnyMeeting was created as a full-function alternative to paid services, with features like video conferencing, audio conferencing, screen sharing, webinar scheduling and more, completely for free. Since then, AnyMeeting has introduced ad-free plans and focused squarely on the needs of small business. With a product specifically designed and priced for small business, AnyMeeting has become a leader in small business web conferencing and now serves hundreds of thousands or meeting hosts from the small business community.     David Gerken, COO & VP of Business Development

    David Gerken brings over 20 years of strategy and early-stage business development experience. Previously, David was the founder and CEO of BuzzDash, a leading social polling forum acquired by the Tribune Company, where he secured distribution and content partnerships with several major media properties.

    Prior to that, David served as vice president of business development for Net Effect Systems, which was later acquired by Ask Jeeves, and then as COO of Ask Jeeves’ operations in the UK & Ireland. David began his business career as a strategy consultant with Price Waterhouse serving large clients in the entertainment & media industries.

    David holds a B.S. and M.S. degree in engineering from the University of Michigan and Caltech, respectively, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

  • Eli Burpee

    Eli Burpee, Engineering Director

    Eli has more than 14 years as a software development professional working with a variety of organization from startups to Fortune 500 companies. At AnyMeeting, Eli is focused on continuous product improvement, new feature deployments, resource management, and software quality. He manages an experienced team of in-house developers as well as key vendors and partners. His expertise spans software development methodologies, database management, enterprise-class security and code quality – all essential to building and maintaining AnyMeeting's robust and scalable platform.

    Prior to AnyMeeting, Eli was a lead developer and consultant to numerous startups and growth stage firms including Chase Credit Systems, QsLabs, Earthbound Media Group and two firms acquired by Compuware. Eli began his career at Georgia Pacific in Atlanta after graduating from Georgia State University with a degree in Computer Science. Eli is a Microsoft Certified Professional and lives with his wife and young son in Orange County, California.

    Christine Henderson, Customer Service Director

    Christine (aka "Chris") is an experienced customer service professional with over 15 years in the Internet and video game technology industry working with both startups and large-scale operations. Chris is dedicated to building customer loyalty and innovating customer service operations and contact channels in order to maximize customer satisfaction and drive revenue.

    Prior to AnyMeeting, Chris spent two years with GameFly and nine years at IGN (a division of Fox News Corp.), where she led the integration and enhancement efforts of the customer service operations, built 11 support sites, and managed a team that provided exceptional service to global customers across the IGN Network. Emphasizing the customer as "King", her team demonstrated a response time of less than two hours and achieved an online rating of five out of five stars.

  • garrett borunda

    Garrett Borunda, Director of Quality Assurance

    Garrett comes to AnyMeeting as a proven quality assurance executive. He has successfully built professional engineering organizations and implemented SDLC processes for both Fortune 500 companies and startup organizations including Apple, Symantec and Spot Runner. His quality assurance expertise is augmented by experience leading product management, development, and program management teams. Most recently, Garrett led Technicolor’s 3D-services team as director of technology and product management.

    Garrett graduated from Stanford University where he wrote his honors thesis on the changing attitude of the Court towards school desegregation.

  • chris bechtel

    Chris Bechtel, Director of Marketing

    Chris has been a business development, marketing and sales professional for more than 20 years, working with startups, growth stage organizations and brands to maximize the results of their digital marketing, PR and revenue generation activities through the use of content and technology. He has worked with dozens of leading organizations including, ACS (a Xerox Company), CarMax, City National Bank, Ebyline.com, Equities.com, iPressroom.com, the Los Angeles Opera, Target Corporation, Trend Micro, and Yahoo!, among many others.

    A film school grad with a business and entrepreneurial passion, Chris founded multiple companies over the last 20 years, beginning with Big Productions, a rap music video production company in San Francisco. A writer and storyteller, Chris also has a background in fashion, automotive, financial services, media, and technology. It is this combination of skills that enable Chris to help companies build long lasting customer relationships that translate into results. He lectures frequently at UCLA, Cal State University Northridge and at numerous conferences and events on strategies and tactics for integrating the web and social communications into marketing and PR.
