This webinar will discuss how to identify and understand the needs of Latinx immigrants regardless of their immigration status. For many survivors of domestic violence having access to basic needs is critical to their long term survival. But immigrant survivors often face additional obstacles to basic needs. We will provided an overview of barriers facing Latinx survivors including language access, health, employment and housing. Particular emphasis will be places on legal remedies and strategies for assisting Latinx survivors in the current political climate.
