Healthy Start: Improving uptake and understanding
Healthy Start is about much more than vitamins, offering weekly vouchers up to £3.10 to spend on milk, plain fresh and frozen fruit and vegetables, and infant formula milk for low income pregnant women and children up to 4 years old.

In this webinar we will hear from three speakers who have worked to help improve the uptake of vouchers in their area, increase the number of retailers accepting vouchers and promote the scheme to other relevant sector actors and those in need. We'll also give an update on eligibility under Universal Credit in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Speakers will include
  • Helen Crawley (First Steps Nutrition)
  • Sandra Passmore (Services for Education, Birmingham)
  • Laura Carvell and Amy Curnock (Public Health, Leicester City Council)
This webinar is co-presented by Food Power and Sustainable Food Cities.
