Summit Center Educational Therapist Nancy Knop, Ph.D, E.T., addresses four areas of math difficulty, including developmental dyscalculia, perception and processing issues, foundation gaps, and math anxiety. She teach strategies to relieve anxiety and help students with math and/or reading disabilities, and explains what children need to be successful. The presentation will show students how to help themselves and advocate for support; instruct parents how to communicate with kids and teachers; and assist teachers in moving students from math difficulty to math confidence and competence.
